Cathie Software

For engineering assessments we largely rely on our in-house developed engineering tools providing full control of engineering approaches and ensuring that our engineers have access to state-of-the-art methods. For non-standard or bespoke engineering models, we depend on Python language and technical, scientific and AI libraries that the open source Python community provides. We also develop and maintain our own python geotechnical library to ensure that validated and unit tested engineering equations are used in our implementations from the simplest of python scripts to bespoke software delivered.

Our Software Solutions

OPILE

OPILE is a program developed to analyse single pilesĀ under axial and lateral loading. The tool provides a means to compute pile capacities, response curves, driveability assessment and load-displacement assessment supporting piled jacket, monopile, anchor pile, etc. design.

 

Other Software

CA have developed cutting, jet trenching, rock drilling models for specific clients. These can be delivered either as a web-based platform running in a browser or as a stand-alone application with a graphical user interface. Cathie have experience with .Net languages, Python development, the Django framework and Qt graphical user interface development.
