Introduction

This privacy notice is intended to describe our overall privacy and data protection practices and tells you how we, Cathie Associates, trading under the name “Cathie”, uses Personal Data of prospects, clients, suppliers and website visitors.

Under what purposes and legal basis do we process your Personal Data?

For us to ensure that we can fulfill your request promptly and accurately we need to collect personal data to direct your enquiry to the appropriate person within Cathie and to be able to respond back to you. In any event, we are committed to ensuring that the information we collect and use is appropriate for this purpose, and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy. The legal bases for processing your Personal Data are:

  • To perform contracts that you may have with us.
  • To comply with our legal obligations

We also process your Personal Data for our legitimate business interests, which include the following:

You will receive marketing messages from us if we have your marketing consent or if we believe there is a legitimate interest in our products and services.

Or, you can email marketing@cathiegroup.com and we will update your preferences as promptly as possible. Please make sure you include your full name. Once you do this, we will update our records to make sure that you don’t receive further marketing messages.

Under what circumstances will Cathie contact me?

Our aim is not to be intrusive or ask irrelevant or unnecessary questions. However, to ensure that the data we hold remains accurate, we may need to contact you to confirm that the details we hold are correct and up to date.

How long do we store your Personal Data?

We will endeavor to keep your information accurate and up to date, and not keep it for longer than is necessary. Cathie is required to retain information in accordance with the law, such as information needed for income tax and audit purposes. Will Cathie share my Personal Data with anyone else?

Please note that we may need to retain certain Personal Data for recordkeeping purposes and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting a change or deletion.
