About the role

We’re looking for an Offshore Operations and HSE Co-ordinator to join our team to help with the co-ordination of client representatives and survey staff, providing a single point of contact during the planning and operational phases of survey projects and to assist in QHSE Management.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Sourcing suitably qualified and experienced client representatives as per the scope of work for individual wind farm and survey projects.
  • Building and maintaining good communication and relationships with clients and client representatives to progress project enquiries and requirements.
  • Logistics activities to support our clients and client representatives covering transport and accommodation bookings.  Communicating travel information to the clients and the client representatives.
  • Following client covid procedures including arranging PCR tests for client representatives as instructed by the client.  Keeping up to date with UK Government guidelines as well as global country entry requirements which are relevant to a project.  Updating Risk Assessments where applicable.
  • Generating Risk Assessments for offshore and onshore projects and updating as required.  Generating Work Orders and providing invoicing information for client representatives.
  • Building up the pool of experienced geotechnical, geophysical and cable client representatives and following the approval recruitment application process.
  • Maintaining the client representative database.
  • Maintaining and updating the client representative availability list for Cathie Project Managers.
  • Assist Project Managers with new project proposals when required.
  • Regular communication both on and offshore to ensure satisfaction and improve networking.
  • Out of hours contact for onshore support for clients and client representatives.
  • Following company policies such as Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental, GDPR and the Document Control procedures.
  • Contribute to the group QHSE management system upkeep and assist with tasks required to ensure ongoing HSEQ statutory and system compliance

About you

The ideal candidate will have…

  1. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  2. Knowledge of the offshore industry, statutory requirements and interaction with clients and offshore stakeholders
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  4. Work flexibility and responsiveness to support Client Representatives mobilisation requirements
  5. NEBOSH certificate or equivalent

Occupational Health and Safety qualifications and experience would be desirable, as would an interest in contributing to the effectiveness and upkeep of the Cathie QHSE Management System.
