Cathie is proud to announce our participation in the International Symposium on Frontiers in Offshore Geotechnics (ISFOG) 2025, taking place from 9th – 13th June in Nantes, France.
As a leading event dedicated to offshore geotechnical engineering, ISFOG brings together global experts to explore the latest research, innovations, and solutions shaping the future of the offshore energy industry.
This year, Cathie’s contribution to the technical programme is substantial, with our team authoring and presenting thirteen technical papers. These papers reflect the depth of our expertise and address key topics including numerical analysis, foundation design & planning, and site characterisation.
Our team is incredibly excited to attend ISFOG – not only to share insights but also to engage with the wider community, exchange ideas, and explore new developments shaping the industry.
Cathie’s ISFOG 2025 Papers:
We’re proud to be contributing the following papers to this year’s conference:
- Pin foundation resistance in coarse gravel seabed – Numerical modelling with DEM
- Pile penetration into scour protection with DEM model
- Pin foundation resistance in rock – Numerical modelling with DEM
- Centrifuge Tests to investigate Pile Run Risk in Transitional Soils
- Pile-boulder resistance relationship for pile tip buckling during impact driving
- Key factors in the extrapolation of onshore pile ageing effects to offshore conditions
- Framework for Jet Trenching Performance Prediction in Cohesionless Soils
- Driven Pile End Bearing Resistance in Rock and Influence of Pilot Holes
- Site-Response-Based Capacity Degradation for Foundation Design in Seismic Active Areas
- Optimized CPT-Based Methods for the Prediction of Soil Resistance to Suction-Assisted Penetration
- Recognising Geotechnical Uncertainty as an Asset to Site Investigation and Characterization
- A finite element implementation for cohesive soils of PISA design model for offshore wind turbines foundations
- Development of an Integrated Ground Model for Ijmuiden Ver Gamma using Geology, Geophysics and Geotechnics
Cathie’s presence at ISFOG reflects our deep commitment to knowledge sharing and advancing best practices across the offshore community. We’re looking forward to reconnecting with colleagues, making new connections and contributing to conversations that move our industry forward.
