The USA offshore wind industry boom, currently projected to generate approximately 30 GW of power in eight East and West Coast states by 2030, presents an exciting opportunity for Cathie to further its capabilities in the USA.
The trusted expertise Cathie has provided in recent years has seen us continue to strengthen relationships with many leading developers on the East Coast, resulting in a strong portfolio of work being forecasted into 2023 and 2024.
With the expected increased levels of activity related to BOEM lease auctions in areas such as California, Oregon and the Gulf of Mexico, we look forward to further growth within our team of geoscience experts in the coming months as the market continues to develop.

Meet Evan Riddle, our newest Senior Project Geophysicist to join the team based in Providence, Rhode Island…
Evan holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from North Carolina State University, and a Master of Science in Geophysics from Oregon State University.
“Over the past ten years I have mainly worked in oil and gas exploration with a focus on seismic interpretation, site selection, permitting and drilling. I’m thrilled to be shifting my focus toward offshore renewables at Cathie.”
Meet Maeve Story, our newest Project Engineer to join the team…
Maeve holds a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering at the University of Rhode Island, and a Master of Science in Ocean Engineering from URI. With a thesis on the geotechnical and structural dynamics of the Block Island Wind Farm, Maeve has truly hit the ground running at Cathie.
